How do I use Canvas Analytics?
There are two types of Analytics available, original and new.
To change which type you are using in a course, go to Settings, Select the Feature Options tab, then toggle the switch for New Course and User Analytics.

To Assign Weights to Assignment Groups in Canvas:

On the “Assignments” page, click the 3 dots in the upper right-hand corner of the page, and click “Assignment Groups Weight”

Check the box next to “Weight final grades based on assignment groups”

Specify the percentage for each Assignment Group, then click “Save.” These percentages will be reflected in the group headers on the Assignments page, as well as the group columns in the Gradebook

To edit these percentages, as well as other options like ignoring a certain number of high or low scores from an Assignment Group, click the 3 dots in the right-hand corner of an Assignment Group header, and click “Edit”
How do I use the Learning Mastery Gradebook?
To use the Learning Mastery Gradebook, enter a course, click on Settings in your course menu, then select the Feature Options Tab at the top. The first option you will see is Learning Mastery Gradebook. Click the toggle to turn the feature on. Then, select Grades in your course menu and select the Gradebook pull-down menu when this page loads. You will then be able to select Learning Mastery and see the students' progress (once you get it all set up).
How do I access Learning Outcomes?
To access Outcomes, go into one of your courses and there will be an Outcomes button in the course menu, just to the right of the global menu (which is on the left side).
