Some assignments will show when you submitted it on the assignment page. If there's a submit button on the page, it usually changes to Re-submit Assignment.

Lastly, if you can't tell on the assignment page, click on Grades, then select the assignment. This takes you to the Submission Details page where you can view anything you've turned in.
